On 15 April 2026, the Symphonic Hall of the National Music Auditorium in Madrid will host a new concert in the ReCuerdas de una vida<\/em> cycle, dedicated to the musical legacy of Maestro \u00c1ngel G. Pi\u00f1ero. On this occasion, the tribute is shaped through a symphonic proposal that brings together the guitar, the violin and a full orchestra for the first time. Taking the stage will be guitarist Ang\u00e9lica Rodr\u00edguez, violinist Francisco Fullana and the Orquesta Cl\u00e1sica Santa Cecilia (Excelentia Foundation), conducted by Maestro Jos\u00e9 Antonio Monta\u00f1o. The programme includes works by \u00c1ngel G. Pi\u00f1ero, together with pieces from the European classical symphonic repertoire. As a highlight, the concert will feature the premiere of El viento de la vida<\/em>, a work by \u00c1ngel G. Pi\u00f1ero in its orchestral version, arranged by Paolo Marzocchi.<\/p>

This concert is a tribute to the victims of terrorism, organised in collaboration with the NEOS Foundation.
The proceeds will go towards keeping their memory alive through projects that bear witness and commemorate them, such as the development of an audiovisual archive of victims’ testimonies, promoted by film director I\u00f1aki Arteta.<\/p>

Winner of the VIII International Classical Guitar Competition \u00c1ngel G. Pi\u00f1ero and a regular collaborator of the Association, Ang\u00e9lica Rodr\u00edguez returns as soloist for this concert. She will be joined for the first time by Mallorcan violinist Francisco Fullana, an internationally active performer known for his versatility and for his collaborations with orchestras across Europe and the United States. Completing the ensemble are the Orquesta Cl\u00e1sica Santa Cecilia and conductor Jos\u00e9 Antonio Monta\u00f1o, who return to the cycle after leading the major symphonic tributes dedicated to the composer at the Teatro Real in 2022 and 2024.<\/p>

The Sala Sinf\u00f3nica del Auditorio Nacional de M\u00fasica, regarded as the leading symphonic venue in Spain, will host a concert by the Association for the first time in a space of this magnitude.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The National Auditorium of Music is regarded as the leading institution for classical music in Spain, established as the country\u2019s main centre for symphonic and chamber concerts and as one of Madrid\u2019s most emblematic cultural venues. Since its inauguration in 1988, it has become a pivotal space for Spanish musical life, hosting each season an extensive artistic programme with a strong international presence.<\/p>

The cultural project of the National Auditorium of Music has positioned the venue among the major European hubs of symphonic activity. Its programming, defined by excellence, combines the great symphonic and chamber repertoires with contemporary proposals and world premieres, maintaining a firm commitment to the evolution of musical creation. The Auditorium is home to some of the most important musical institutions in Spain \u2014such as the National Orchestra of Spain and the Spanish National Youth Orchestra\u2014 and regularly welcomes orchestras, soloists and conductors of international renown.<\/p>

The venue comprises two main halls, the Symphony Hall, seating more than 2,300 spectators, and the Chamber Hall, designed for recitals and chamber music, enabling a versatile and multidisciplinary artistic offering. Its architectural design and acoustics, conceived specifically for musical performance, make it an ideal setting for orchestral, choral and chamber music.<\/p>
