CONCERT AT THE ART GALLERY “PATRICIA READY”

This concert will be the second to be organized in Chile in 2022 after the first, which will take place on November 25 at the Teatro del Lago de Frutillar (Osorno).
With these concerts, the Ángel G. Piñero Association seeks to honor the composer from Cádiz Ángel G. Piñero, who died this year, and combine the tradition of Spanish music for classical guitar with the European musical heritage of the string quartet.
We will be able to enjoy a pleasant and varied concert in which we will make an exciting journey through the music of various Spanish composers from the 19th to the 21st centuries, where the classical guitar has stood out for its Spanish essence and the composers have drunk so much from Spanish folklore.
We will listen to the Spanish guitar as a solo instrument as well as in an exciting instrumental dialogue with the string quartet. For its interpretation, the Ukrainian guitarist Stanislav Steshenko and the Chagall string quartet from Madrid (Spain) will be present.
THE VENUE
Galería Patricia Ready
Galería Patricia Ready has an exhibition program designed to promote the work of contemporary artists. With critical projects and a solid conceptual ground, its artists reflect society through the great diversity of current artistic practices.
The gallery has an open curatorial line, offering its space to young artists as well as to those who have already conquered a space in the national and international scene. Therefore, it is prepared for the exhibition of experimentation, conceptual art, photography, video art, digital art, installations and performances, and also for the more traditional medias as painting, sculpture and print.
The current space in Vitacura opened in May 2008 and was developed by the architects Luis Izquierdo, Antonia Lehman, Mauricio Léniz and Mirene Elton.
The Sala Principal has 500 m2, the Sala Gráfica has 100 m2. There is also a restaurant, a small bookstore and an auditorium for 100 people.

THE ARTISTS
Guitarist: Stanislav Steshenko
Stanislav began studying singing and piano at the age of five. Later, at the age of 9, he began studying guitar at the Mirgorod music school with Professor Kasyanenko (2004-2011). He graduated from Glier Kiev School of Music with Professor Drozdova O (2011-2015).
He continued his studies at the Kiev University of Culture and Arts and at the Kharkiv National University of the Arts (Kotlyarevsky), where he had Zhadko V and DotsenkoV as professors.
Stanislav has participated in regional, national and international competitions and contests in Ukraine, Poland, Russia, Germany, Greece, Belgium, Spain and Croatia. He is the main performer of works for guitar by Ukrainian composers and collaborates with the “Kyiv Soloists” orchestra.
He has attended masterclasses with Gabriel Bianco, Carlo Marchione, Alex Garrobe, Angel Pinero, Lukasz Kuropaczewski, Judicael Perroy and René Izquierdo.
He is currently studying at the University of music and performing arts Munich (Prof. Halasz), with a scholarship from the DAAD Foundation.
The Chagall Quartet
The Chagall quartet is integrated by Cristina Pascual Godoy (violin), Sergio Gómez (violin), Abel Nafee Rosch (viola) and Irene Celestino (cello).
The quartet has given a large number of concerts both nationally and internationally, including its participation in the festivals “Clásicos en Verano” and “Arte Sacro” of the Community of Madrid, in several concert cycles in Boadilla del Monte (Madrid), in the cycle “Las soirées de Riaza” (Segovia), MusaE cycles supported by Acción Cultural Española and the MECD, Juventudes Musicales or the concert given in the Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid in commemoration of the 115th anniversary of the SGAE (Spanish Society of Authors and Publishers).
On the international scene, it is worth mentioning the concert tour as guest quartet at the “Junger Künstler Bayreuth Festival” or their concert at the Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania, both with great critical and public acclaim. They have also given concerts in Saint Jean de Luz and Biarritz (France).

Compuesta en 2020 en plena campaña del coronavirus, como homenaje al dolor y a las víctimas de la pandemia.
Preludio azul
Dedicada a mi madre, víctima de la voracidad de la Guerra Civil española. Debe estar en el cielo y por eso lleva el nombre de Preludio Azul.
Evocación
Recuerdo de juventud de postguerra con mi hermano y su apoyo para yo fuera músico. En esta obra se refleja entre sus notas, la vida de sacrificios por salir adelante en nuestra juventud.
Murmullo musical
Es un murmullo musical en tono Mayor y menor simulando un chorro continuado de notas.
El viento de la vida
Preludio dedicado a la vida, su empuje y fuerza.
Caprichos
Es una obra espontánea, juguetona, hay un juego entre la melodía y el cromatismo que le da un interés especial

PRENSA
El 11 de noviembre a la 19:00 se organiza a través de la Asociación de guitarra clásica Ángel G. Piñero, un concierto de guitarra sola y guitarra y cuarteto de cuerdas en la sala Manuel de Falla de la SGAE. Es un concierto monográfico de parte de las obras de Piñero, que serán interpretadas por un concertista ucraniano premiado, Stalisnav Stetshenko y el cuarteto Chagall.
El programa incluye las obras Preludio Azul, El viento de la vida, Murmullo musical, Balada a una desconocida, Viaje Nocturno, Alegrías en el puerto, Canto a la serranía y Brisas de Cádiz.
