AUDITORIO NACIONAL DE MÚSICA (SALA SINFÓNICA) | Madrid
Wednesday 15 April 2026 at 7:30 pm
On 15 April 2026, the Symphonic Hall of the National Music Auditorium in Madrid will host a new concert in the ReCuerdas de una vida cycle, dedicated to the musical legacy of Maestro Ángel G. Piñero. On this occasion, the tribute is shaped through a symphonic proposal that brings together the guitar, the violin and a full orchestra for the first time. Taking the stage will be guitarist Angélica Rodríguez, violinist Francisco Fullana and the Orquesta Clásica Santa Cecilia (Excelentia Foundation), conducted by Maestro José Antonio Montaño. The programme includes works by Ángel G. Piñero, together with pieces from the European classical symphonic repertoire.
Winner of the VIII International Classical Guitar Competition Ángel G. Piñero and a regular collaborator of the Association, Angélica Rodríguez returns as soloist for this concert. She will be joined for the first time by Mallorcan violinist Francisco Fullana, an internationally active performer known for his versatility and for his collaborations with orchestras across Europe and the United States. Completing the ensemble are the Orquesta Clásica Santa Cecilia and conductor José Antonio Montaño, who return to the cycle after leading the major symphonic tributes dedicated to the composer at the Teatro Real in 2022 and 2024.
The Sala Sinfónica del Auditorio Nacional de Música, regarded as the leading symphonic venue in Spain, will host a concert by the Association for the first time in a space of this magnitude. Its acoustic design and orchestral capacity allow large-format repertoire to be performed while ensuring clear projection of the guitar, the violin and the full orchestra.
Tickets will be on sale soon.
