CONCERT AT NYMPHENBURG PALACE (MUNICH)

Ukrainian guitarist Stanislav Steshenko, winner of the latest editions of the Ángel G. Piñero International Classical Guitar Competition, performed original works by Ángel and other composers at the concert that took place at Nymphenburg Palace in the city of Munich (Germany). Along with Stanislav, the young Ukrainian violinist Dmytro Udomychenko performed.
THE VENUE
Nymphenburg Palace
Nymphenburg Palace is a Baroque-style palace located in the city of Munich. Built to be used as a summer residence for the Wittelsbach family (rulers of Bavaria), the palace stands in the eastern part of the city. With immense gardens and a very particular layout, its construction dates back to the 18th and 19th centuries and the stone hall (Steinerner Saal) is especially notable, as well as the so-called “gallery of beauties”, where a collection of portraits of beautiful women (commissioned by Ludwig I) is exhibited.

LOS ARTISTAS
Guitarist: Stanislav Steshenko
Stanislav began studying singing and piano at the age of five. Later, at the age of 9, he began studying guitar at the Mirgorod music school with Professor Kasyanenko (2004-2011). He graduated from Glier Kiev School of Music with Professor Drozdova O (2011-2015).
He continued his studies at the Kiev University of Culture and Arts and at the Kharkiv National University of the Arts (Kotlyarevsky), where he had Zhadko V and DotsenkoV as professors.
Stanislav has participated in regional, national and international competitions and contests in Ukraine, Poland, Russia, Germany, Greece, Belgium, Spain and Croatia. He is the main performer of works for guitar by Ukrainian composers and collaborates with the “Kyiv Soloists” orchestra.
He has attended masterclasses with Gabriel Bianco, Carlo Marchione, Alex Garrobe, Angel Pinero, Lukasz Kuropaczewski, Judicael Perroy and René Izquierdo.
He is currently studying at the University of music and performing arts Munich (Prof. Halasz), with a scholarship from the DAAD Foundation.
Violinist: Dmytro Udovychenko
Dmytro was born on June 1, 1999 in Kharkiv (Ukraine). He has studied music since he was 5 years old. At the age of 6, Dmytro began his studies at the Kharkiv Specialized Music Boarding School, where he is currently following a violin program under the supervision of Ludmila Varenina. Dmytro is a prize winner of numerous international music competitions, including “The IIId Leonid Kogan Violin and cello Competition (March 2016) Grand Prix.” and “The V International Jascha Heifetz Competition for Violinists. (Vilnius, Lithuania. February, 2017) Second Prize and EMCY Prize”.
Dmytro performed with the following orchestras: «Virtuosos of Moscow» conducted by Vladimir Spivakov (Moscow), Kharkiv Regional Philharmonic Orchestra, Youth Symphony Orchestra (Kharkiv) and many other orchestras from Ukraine, Germany, Lithuania.
In 2014, Dmytro was invited by Yury Bashmet to perform at the Elba Isola Musicale D'Europa international festival. In 2012 and 2014, at the invitation of Vladimir Spivakov, Dmytro performed in the Great Hall of the International House of Music during the opening ceremony of the International Festival “Moscow welcomes friends”, accompanied by Moscow Virtuosi» (directed by Vladimir Spivakov).
Dmytro has also recorded a number of performances at the National Recording House (Kyiv).
In addition, Dmytro participated in the master classes of the following teachers: Boris Garlitsky (Paris), Dmitry Sitkovetsky (London), Sergey Ostrovsky (Geneva-Neuchatel), Nataliya Boyarskaya (London), Olga Parkhomenko (Helsinki), etc.
Dmytro is currently studying with Professor Boris Garlitsky (Folkwang Universität der Künste, Essen, Germany).

Meditación
Compuesta en 2020 en plena campaña del coronavirus, como homenaje al dolor y a las víctimas de la pandemia.
Preludio azul
Dedicada a mi madre, víctima de la voracidad de la Guerra Civil española. Debe estar en el cielo y por eso lleva el nombre de Preludio Azul.
Evocación
Recuerdo de juventud de postguerra con mi hermano y su apoyo para yo fuera músico. En esta obra se refleja entre sus notas, la vida de sacrificios por salir adelante en nuestra juventud.
Murmullo musical
Es un murmullo musical en tono Mayor y menor simulando un chorro continuado de notas.
El viento de la vida
Preludio dedicado a la vida, su empuje y fuerza.
Caprichos
Es una obra espontánea, juguetona, hay un juego entre la melodía y el cromatismo que le da un interés especial

PRENSA
El 11 de noviembre a la 19:00 se organiza a través de la Asociación de guitarra clásica Ángel G. Piñero, un concierto de guitarra sola y guitarra y cuarteto de cuerdas en la sala Manuel de Falla de la SGAE. Es un concierto monográfico de parte de las obras de Piñero, que serán interpretadas por un concertista ucraniano premiado, Stalisnav Stetshenko y el cuarteto Chagall.
El programa incluye las obras Preludio Azul, El viento de la vida, Murmullo musical, Balada a una desconocida, Viaje Nocturno, Alegrías en el puerto, Canto a la serranía y Brisas de Cádiz.
