Orquesta Clásica Santa Cecilia

The Orquesta Clásica Santa Cecilia is made up of professionals with extensive experience, who have played on the music stands of the most prestigious orchestras in Spain and Europe, which allows them to cultivate classical repertoires with the highest quality.

It has been conducted by important maestros such as Roberto Abbado, Julian Rachlin, Grzegorz Nowak, Michail Jurowski, Jean-Jacques Kantorow, Thomas Sanderling, Alexander Polyanichko, among others.

Instrumental soloists of the stature of Krystian Zimerman, Nicola Benedetti, Vadim Gluzman, Vadim Repin, Julian Rachlin, Alexei Volodin, Gabriela Montero, Boris Andrianov, Vesko Eschkenazy, Renaud Capuçon, Maxim Rysanov, Radovan Vlatkovic, Leticia Moreno, Eric Le Sage, Clara Jumi Kang, among other great soloists of the international scene, have performed with the Orquesta Clásica Santa Cecilia.

The Orchestra regularly invites concertmasters from the best orchestras in the world, such as the Royal Contergebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam or the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, among others.

Performances on the best stages

The Orquesta Santa Cecila has performed in several venues such as the Teatro Real in Madrid, the Palacio de Euskalduna in Bilbao, the Palau de la Música in Valencia and the Auditori de Barcelona, among many other select venues.

It has also participated in important festivals, such as Santander and Pedraza, and has recently performed at the Zurich International Orchestra Festival Series at London’s Cadogan Hall.
